This weekend, Boston played in honor of Linda Bourque, a founding member of Boston Women’s Rugby who has recently passed away. Linda has been described as a legend, a force, an awesome human, and so much more. She is one of the reasons we are here today, and we owe an enormous debt of gratitude to her. To honor Linda’s memory, Boston wore her name for our Sunday games at the NERFU Tournament, while her daughter, Heidi, and other family members cheered us on. Embodying Linda’s spirit, Boston went undefeated in the tournament, taking home the NERFU Cup. #bootkisses for Linda ❤️💙💪🏼🏉
